Methodologies

The whole BEING in action

ACTIVE METHODOLOGY GETTING THE HANDS, THE HEAD AND THE HEART INTO MOTION

PROJECTS

When we find motivation, when we embark on projects that we like and when we find the resources we require to move forward, joy flows from us, and everything we share is bathed in this happiness.

The inspiration of our constructivism is the fundament of our project work. This is a movement which looks for a way to give students the necessary tasks, so that they themselves can build up their own knowledge.

PLAY TIME

Playing is life. By playing, children and young people express their feelings, develop their different intelligences and become familiar with the aspects of their environment that attract their attention the most.

When we are playing, we learn, we enjoy, we rid ourselves of tensions and we put ourselves to the test.

Children who play, feel more motivated to learn. This is shown by diverse studies, like those recently published in the American magazine, ‘Pediatrics’.

WORKSHOPS

Workshops are are doors to new discoveries, new interests, new aspects to know about the world.

Theory and practice are combined, allowing the students to develop the necessary skills related to the subject at hand.

INTERACTIVE SOCIAL AND POLITICAL PLANNING

The Interactive Social and Political Planning allows children and teenagers to participate in daily decisions, assume responsabiliies and develop the necessary skills to generate positive changes within their environment.

The decision making model is a mixed model. It utilizes some elements of the democratic model, for example a fair vote system. It also sometimes utilizes a sociocratic model, co-creating proposition and decision making by consent.

COMMUNITY WORK

Community work is a service or activity carried out for the well-being of everybody.

Every student has a task, depending on the necessities of the educational community.
